How to Make Nyangbaa; A Common Meal Among Northern Ghanaian communities

This food is cooked by many communities in the Northern part of Ghana, the cooking process may vary from one ethnic group to another. Among the Dagaaba found in the Upper West Region, this is how it is made. It is a xokmon meal cooked as lunch especially for farmers who are at work. it is made with fresh cassava leaves, beans flour and salt petre. It is best enjoyed when hot, with a mixture of melted shea butter, salt, powdered pepper and onions. I don't know the English name for this meal and I doubt it has one, so learn to say nyangbaa or ŋmololo. You can get the ingredients especially the beans flour from www.marafoodgh.com.
