For the best results, I recommend using a kitchen scale to measure ingredients in grams, as this gives the most accurate and consistent outcome. But if you don’t have a scale, no worries! i have include cup measurements and ounces so you can still follow along. thanks Ingredients:- Bread flour-225 gm, 1¾ cups, 7.95 oz Water- 175 ml, ¾ cup, 5.92 oz Instant dry yeast- 1.5 tsp, 4.5 gm Salt- 1 tsp, 5 gm Olive oil- 30ml, 1/8 cup, 1.01 oz For Toppings:- Garlic sauce soft butter chop parsley chilli flakes mozzarella cheese salt / pepper method:- 1-The Dry Ingredients Start with bread flour for a perfect structure. simply sift it, add salt, and mix. 2-The Liquid Mix In a bowl, combine water and instant dry yeast. No need to activate! But if using active dry yeast, activate it first. Stir well, then pour into the flour. Add a little olive oil—this brings richness and depth to the bread. Mix until just combined, then cover and let it rest for one hour. No kneading—just let the dough hydrate naturally. 3-The Garlic Sauce – Pure Flavor Peel fresh garlic cloves, place them in a pot, and cover with oil. Cook on low heat until soft—never on high, or it will burn! Once softened, let it cool, then blend into a creamy paste, adding a little garlic-infused oil for extra flavor. Another method: For a deeper, roasted garlic flavor, cut a garlic bulb in half way, sprinkle with salt, drizzle with oil, wrap in foil, and roast until soft. Once done, mash it into a smooth paste. Both methods create an incredible garlic sauce! 4-Stretch & Fold for Better Texture After one hour, the dough will be soft and airy. Time for a simple stretch and fold. Take one side, stretch it up, and fold it over. Rotate the bowl and repeat on all four sides. This strengthens the dough, making it smoother and more elastic. Once done, cover and let it rest again. 5-Garlic Butter – The Secret to Bold Flavor In a bowl, mix soft butter, creamy garlic sauce, fresh parsley, chili flakes (optional for spicy ), salt, and black pepper. mix until smooth and packed with flavor. This will take the bread to the next level! 6-Shaping & First Bake Lightly dust the work surface with flour. Flatten the dough, but don’t roll it too thin. Shape it however desired—flatbread, ciabatta, or baguette. Before baking, use a fork to poke small holes—this prevents excessive puffing. Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, cover, and rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake for 20 minutes. For a crispier crust, leave it in for a few extra minutes. The first bake is done, but the real magic is about to happen! 7-Cheese & Final Bake – The Best Part! Fresh out of the oven, the bread smells incredible. Now, spread garlic sauce over every inch—it soaks into the warm bread, infusing it with rich, buttery flavor. Next, layer mozzarella cheese—or any favorite cheese. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and add a little extra garlic sauce. This extra layer caramelizes in the oven, intensifying the flavor. Bake again for 10 more minutes, or until the cheese melts and turns golden. For extra crispiness, leave it in a little longer. The moment the cheese starts bubbling and the garlic butter fills the air—pure magic. Tips:- ✔ Use Bread Flour (high protein flour) – This gives the best structure and chew. If using all-purpose flour, all good. reduce the liquid slightly. ✔ Hydration is Key – Let the dough rest for at least 1 hour to absorb moisture and develop flavor—no need for kneading! ✔ Prevent Over proofing – If the dough sits too long, it may lose strength and collapse. ✔ Low & Slow Cooking – Always cook garlic on low heat to avoid bitterness.
