In this video I travel on the Karakorum Highway in the North of Pakistan (Gilgit-Baltistan). I started this trip in front of Nanga Parbat, which peaks at 8126m above sea level. It’s the second highest mountain in Pakistan after K2 and the 9th highest in the world. I had lunch in front of this beauty of nature drinking a delicious chai and daal-chapati, a classic Pakistani meal. A group of 10 Pakistani guys picked me up on their way to Naran. We had a good discussion and one of them wanted to interview me about my feelings as a foreigner here. Pakistan suffers from a bad reputation worldwide, often associated with terrorism and attacks. What I discovered in this country is a world apart from that. Highlights of the interview: I arrived one month ago in Gilgit-Baltistan and never felt insecure I met 99% of good people, very generous and kind I ate a lot of paratha, daal and drink delicious chai We arrived at Babusar Pass, ate chickpeas, talked about environmental concerns and French girls.
