In this video i’m going to show you how to make double dark chocolate and strawberry sourdough bread. This dark chocolate strawberry bread has a wonderful deep chocolate flavor without being too sweet. I will show you the exact recipe step by step so you can make it too! #sourdough #breadrecipe #howtomakebread #howtomakesourdough #chocolatebread #chocolatesourdough #darkchocolate #casadough *I N G R E D I E N T S : 500g bread flour 100g active sourdough starter 425g water ( warmed to about 85°F ) 9g salt 50g dutch processed cocoa powder ( ⇢ *https://amzn.to/43ecsQx) 100g sugar 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract optional - but encouraged 25g freeze dried strawberries 125g chocolate chips *R E C I P E : Mix active sourdough starter and water in a large bowl. Mix to combine Add salt, cocoa powder, vanilla, and sugar Mix to combine Add flour Mix until all of the flour is fully hydrated Rest covered for 1 hour Stretch and fold the dough 4 times every 30 minutes for 2 hours During the 2nd and 3rd rounds of stretch and folds add half of your chocolate chips and freeze dried strawberries in each. Rest dough for approximately 2hours ( you may need longer depending on the temperature of your home and how active your starter is) Shape and place in a banneton in the fridge overnight (6-18 hours) The next morning preheat oven with a dutch oven inside at 450°F for 45min-1hour. Remove dough from the fridge and score. Place in the preheated dutch oven with the lid on for 30 min. Remove the dutch oven lid, turn the oven down to 400°F and bake the dough for an addition 15-20 min. Wait to cool before cutting.
