King Parrot Creek to Sunday Creek, getting around Mt Dissapointment - retracing Hume and Hovell

G’day, I’m Karen Schmidt; in this video I visit King Parrot Creek where Hume and Hovell spent a lot of time at because they kept returning to the creek every time they were unsuccesful crossing Mt Dissapointment. They named King Parrot Creek for the Kind Parrots, they named Mt Dissapointment for the trouble they had crossing it and then they reached a creek on a Sunday, which they named Sunday Creek. Sunday Creek runs through the small Town of Broadford. Captain William Hilton Hovell was my 4xGreat Grandfather and this video is part of a series whereby I retrace his steps on the bicentenary of the Hume and Hovell Expedition of 1824-25.
