There's no shortage of self-help books out there. You can read up on how to become a better communicator, be a better parent, spouse, learn how to stop smoking... the list goes on. One writer, who splits his time between Alaska and Cleveland Heights recently tackled the topic of "flourishing." He examined thriving communities across the globe and looked for similarities in how they live their lives and support one another. Daniel Coyle has spent many years writing about how people perform at their best, and has even served as a consultant to the Cleveland Guardians. In "Flourish," Coyle digs into the stories of people who have found purpose in their lives, created spaces that allow for growth, and how we can all shift our attentions to look at the bigger picture. Coyle will be speaking at the Parma-Snow Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library on Thurs, Feb. 12 at 7pm. You can find more information about that event here. Guest: Daniel Coyle, Author, "Flourish: The Art of Building Meaning, Joy, and Fulfillment"
