This week, Dr. Nate Willaford is looking at the final two phases of the TPI - Titleist Performance Institute movement screen, Overhead Posture and Wrist and Forearm Mobility. This screen is used to determine if an athlete has any mobility or stability issues that could inhibit his or her golf swing. There are 15 movements that are looked at over 5 categories. The third component of the screen that we’re looking at is Upper Body Dissociation. There are three exercises used to determine adequate overhead posture: Overhead Squat Test Lat.
