Is there such as thing as the “ideal macro splits” for fat loss and muscle building? In this episode, I address a very common question I get as a Sports Dietitian around macronutrients and dietary strategy. There is this belief that there are specific macro splits that are universally optimised for fat loss and/or muscle gains. How true is this? Is this all B.S? With the growing interest over the years into flexible dieting and tracking your macros, many dieters search for the perfect macro split they think will level up their progress and achieve their health and fitness goals.
