MOUTH MATTERS - OPEN AND HONEST INFORMATION ABOUT MOUTH CANCER - WEBINAR EPISODE 7. 19 MAY 2025. CHARITY TURNS 20 This May is all about the Mouth Cancer Foundation celebrating 20 years of charitable status. That is 20 years of helping patients, families and carers as well as raising much needed awareness and education around head and neck cancers. So, our next “Mouth Matters – Open and Honest Information about Mouth Cancers”, webinar at 1800 on Monday 19 May in the UK and 1300 in the USA will feature Eva Grayzel speaking with Charity Co-Founder Krishan Joshi. The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a small, but mighty charity, which continues to grow from strength to strength, making an impact with patients at the heart of all activities. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN • Why the Mouth Cancer Foundation started. • How the charity can help patients. • And what the future holds? The charity’s Founder, Dr Vinod Joshi, created the charity’s first Mouth Cancer Awareness web portal while working at the Restorative Dental Oncology Clinics to complement the work he was doing at St Luke’s Hospital, Bradford and Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield. The website experienced phenomenal growth, especially the message board facility which became a robust online support group. The Mouth Cancer Foundation, as we know it today was born and became a registered charity in May 2005. The Mouth Cancer Foundation operates many successful head and neck cancer patient centric campaigns and initiatives to help and support head and neck cancer patients. The 20-minute, informative monthly webinars, discussing all things head and neck cancer related, are hosted by our Patient Ambassador, Eva Grayzel and over the months feature patient, carer and clinical Ambassadors and special guests.
