Jan 20, 2026 2:29pm After the I-Train passed, the Madera Local got the clear to come back out onto the Fresno Sub main line. After passing here, the train got onto the main and had to do switching work at the small siding track on the Fresno Sub here as they left cars in it as the train was too long for the Madera Spur when they came onto the branch. After switching, they would proceed back home to Fresno. I didn't film the switching move as I left for home after this myself. This crossing is a pretty nice Incandescent crossing. The close gated mast only and then whole left signal are signals from the 70s SP era with very few changes being its original mechanical bell likely a FS or WRRS or even another Safetran was replaced with the current 2nd Gen WCH Bell and gate lights and gates aren't the original ones on these signals gated masts. Now the close Cantilever appears to be an early 90s style SP signal install meaning this Cantilever was likely a knock down replacement that replaced a Harmon 70s Cantilever that was also here as the gated masts has a a signal base that predates its Cantilever and matches the other gated mast. This crossing also features one of my nostalgic bell combos Safetran and WCH Mechanical Bells. Note, in a few months, I'll have to be back to get G St as the WCH bells at that crossing sound pretty nice unless they are WRRS and GS Bells haven't checked.
