We start by using Lovable’s voice-to-text feature to explain the idea: a personal task planner with sign-in, persistent tasks, and flexible fields like due dates, time estimates, costs, and story points. The app is powered by Lovable Cloud, which provides an integrated backend with authentication, databases, storage buckets, and security out of the box. Instead of hardcoding task fields, we design a configurable field system, allowing new fields to be added later without breaking the app. Tasks can be grouped into projects, marked as To Do, In Progress, or Done, and viewed as either a simple list or a Kanban board. Attachments are supported using storage buckets, making it easy to extend the platform over time. Throughout the build, we use chat mode to refine decisions before implementation, debug real issues (like dynamic form resets), and incrementally improve the app - including adding drag-and-drop Kanban functionality and fixing state management bugs.
