Long Run Workout | 16 Miles with Marathon Pace Intervals Week 4 of training for Wineglass Marathon is in the books, and this one was a big one—50 miles total, capped off with a 16-mile long run workout. In this video, I take you through the structure of the run: a 5-mile warm-up followed by marathon pace intervals at 8:00, 7:40, and 7:20–ish... or so I thought. Let’s just say the last few miles got spicy. I also talk fueling (Go Gels every 4 miles, G1M Sport hydration), pacing struggles, and how I’m working on pushing harder earlier in workouts instead of saving too much for the end.
