(for this class I would recommend ‘Slow Yoga’ or ‘RSS – Relax Slow Sad’) ----- This is a 70 min hatha yoga flow where we are using a yoga strap (or something similar like a scarf or a belt) in various postures (not all postures). Sometimes we use the yoga strap to make certain asanas more accessible, in other asanas we use the strap to get a deeper stretch or to work on strength. Feel free to do any of the demonstrated postures without the strap if this is part of your practice. This practice is relatively slow (or slowed down due to the use of the strap). This doesn’t make it easy or gentle 😉 The practice is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Listen to your body, take a break when you need one. See you on the mat my beautiful yoga friends. Janice PS: This practice was requested by one of, so I´m hoping it hits the mark =) Let me know in the comments what other classes you are looking for?! ------ Also check out my other platforms: Instagram: / janice_allermann_yoga Facebook: / janiceallermannyoga Website: https://www.janice-yoga.de (in German) ----- Yoga means to me? 'coming home to yourself' Self-sensitivity. Developing awareness and thereby a feeling for oneself – for the body, thoughts and emotions – recognising one´s own needs and giving them space. Change of perspective. Instead of looking outwards, looking inwards – reviewing expectations (one´s own and those of others) – discovering what matters most in life. Self-love. Accepting oneself – getting in touch with one´s own life-themes – developing a loving attitude towards oneself and others.
