She is Vice Chairperson of Uganda Hotels Owner's Association, Chairperson Uganda Women's Effort to save orphans and Chair Person Women League (Western Region). She previously served on the executive of Uganda Tourism Board. In 2003 the United States Coalition of AGOA Supporters (USA) in recognition of the exemplary leadership and work presented her with an Award in advancing AGOA.
