重慶南川西來寺是一座融合千年歷史與自然禪意的佛教寺院，坐落於南川區永隆山公園半山腰，距城區約 3 公里。其始建於唐玄宗開元年間（713 - 741 年），歷經宋、元、明、清修繕擴建，現存建築以清代風格為主，2020 年被列為南川區文物保護點。寺院依山而建，呈階梯式佈局，木質結構飛簷斗拱，雕廊畫棟，大雄寶殿內供奉數十米高的釋迦牟尼金身像，七層佛塔可登頂俯瞰南川城區。寺內珍藏 10000 餘件唐代至民國文物，包括佛像、碑刻、經卷等，其中肉身像和全木結構工藝尤為珍貴。 Chongqing Nanchuan Xilai Temple is a Buddhist temple that combines thousands of years of history and natural Zen. The wooden structure has upturned eaves and dougong, carved corridors and painted pillars. In the main hall of the Great Buddha, a golden statue of Sakyamuni dozens of meters high is enshrined. The seven-story pagoda can be climbed to the top to overlook the urban area of Nanchuan. The temple treasures more than 10,000 cultural relics from the Tang Dynasty to the Republic of China, including Buddha statues, steles, scriptures, etc. Among them, the flesh body statue and the all-wood structure craftsmanship are particularly precious.
