This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 Gelgoog Ground Type on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 400-550 cost support with decent mobility, high melee damage against generals, good self defence capabilities alongside high damage beam rifle shots. It suffers from poor thrust capacity, poor walking speed, poor stagger output with the beam rifle, poor melee ability with the beam sniper rifle alongside a large hitbox. I decided to play two games with this suit in quick match. They both went pretty well, so I decided to upload them. Before this, I had not played the suit for a very long time. I hope that you enjoy watching! Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2000 (2400) power, 4 seconds cooldown, 60% (90%) heat, 13 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 400m (550m) range, 4.5 seconds focus time, 1.2x (1.1x) leg damage modifier and 10% stagger value. With type advantage, this can do a ton of damage to generals. It isn't uncommon to see 4000 damage with a charged shot. You can break legs relatively well with uncharged shots, but you won't stagger enemies this way. You can pull off a huge damage combo if you land an instant staggering charged shot then go into a downswing. Its alternate primary weapon is a beam sniper rifle with 1800 (2500) power, 3.5 seconds cooldown, 60% (80%) heat, 15 seconds overheat, 1 second swap time, 550m (650m) range, 3 seconds focus time, 1.3x leg damage modifier and 10% stagger value. This can stagger with uncharged shots, but you must stop to fire when using it. You basically become a worse version of the GM Sniper II (White Dingo) when using this. You cannot practically melee with this primary, since the stop to fire leaves them enough time to dodge roll away. Its primary melee weapon is a beam naginata with 2000 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. This is a pretty average weapon for a general, but on a support with balancers and type advantage against generals, it becomes pretty damn powerful. You can hit generals for between 3000-4000 damage with a downswing, while also slotting in a beam rifle shot inbetween downswings for even higher damage. Its first sub weapon is an arm grenade launcher with 350 power, 200 RPM, 3 ammo, 13 seconds reload, 1 second swap time, 300m range and 50% stagger value. This has long reload time and low damage, but it has high stagger power. This is an excellent self defence tool against raids, since you can break their MA then downswing them. It is also pretty good when used offensively against generals. Its second sub weapon is an arm vulcan gun with 110 power, 363 RPM, 24 ammo, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 667 DPS and 6% stagger value. This has just okay DPS, and it takes a long time to stagger with on its own, taking about 2.8 seconds to do so. It is most useful for finishing off low health enemies. In terms of durability it has 16000 HP, 15 ballistic resist, 19 beam resist and 8 melee resist. It has overall average durability, albeit with low melee resist. Generals like Gundam EX or GM Dominance Aqua Type can still heavily damage you if you get careless because of this, despite type disadvantage. In terms of mobility it has 115 (117 with ground affinity) walking speed, 175 boosting speed, 55 thrust and 54 (60 including affinity) turning speed. This used to be really good mobility for a support, and it still is to some extent, but it isn't as fast as it used to be, relatively speaking. It has boosting speed nearly as good as that of generals, but it doesn't have much thrust, and its walking speed is still poor. Still, this is mostly good enough to stick to around your generals. In conclusion, I think that the Gelgoog Ground Type holds up decently well despite its age. If you can land beam rifle into melee combos, it is as strong as ever, with it being able to cripple generals in one combo. Although, if you do play it like this, you are basically playing as a slow general with no dodge roll and no stagger output, so the suit can easily be a burden on the team if used on the wrong map or if it is used improperly. It isn't 2020 anymore, and it is no longer a meta support, so it would be fair for it to get some buffs now. I think that it could get 125 walking speed, 65 thrust, 57 turning speed, 512 arm vulcan RPM, 6 seconds arm vulcan reload speed, 10 seconds arm grenade reload speed, 55% beam sniper rifle heat and 3 seconds beam sniper rifle cooldown. On top of this, if it isn't too much, it could perhaps even get LV1 Resist Move. Thanks for watching and I hope that you enjoyed it! Music used: Re-Volt, Little Toy Carz Soul Calibur VI, Defeat!
