Chicken Puff Pastry – Ramadan Edit | Crispy & Easy Iftar Snack Ramadan is the perfect time for quick, delicious, and crispy snacks for iftar, and these Chicken Puff Pastries are absolutely perfect. Instructions 1. Prepare the Chicken FillingStart by heating a little oil in a pan. Add the minced garlic and chopped green chili and sauté for a few seconds until fragrant. Add one chopped onion and sauté well until it softens. 2. Add Flour and ChickenAdd 1 tablespoon of white flour and mix it into the onions. Then add the diced chicken breast and sauté until the chicken is fully cooked. 3. Season the MixtureAdd the following seasonings: 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp paprika powder 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp oregano ½ tsp parsley Mix everything well so the chicken is evenly coated with the spices. 4. Add Chicken CubeAdd one chicken cube and sauté everything together until the mixture becomes slightly dry and well combined. Once done, set the filling aside and allow it to cool slightly. 5. Prepare the Puff PastryTake your ready-made puff pastry sheets. Lightly sprinkle some white flour on your surface so the pastry doesn’t stick. Using a rolling pin, gently roll each sheet to flatten it slightly and cut the edges so they are even. 6. Fill the PastriesPlace some of the chicken filling in the center of the pastry along with a little cheese. Fold the pastry and use a fork to press and seal the edges. 7. Egg Wash & ToppingBrush the top with an egg wash and sprinkle some black seeds or sesame seeds on top for extra flavor and texture. 8. BakePreheat your oven to 200°C.
