Behringer Crave / Cat / Pro VS Mini - Cyberpunk Soundtrack Hardware Synth Jam

I'm calling this a Cyberpunk Soundtrack jam. I'm imagining it as a score for a futuristic cyberpunk hacker noir scene that evolves into an action scene. Or something like that. :-) I wanted to write something to feature the Behringer Cat, which is the latest addition to my collection. There's a lot to explore with its modulation options and its two oscillators with mixable waveforms. But I think its most obvious use is for aggressive basses and that's how I'm using it here. It kind of feels like a mix of the Moog Minitaur and the Arturia Microbrute in terms of features, and those are two amazing bass synths! No major processing added for the bass track--just sidechain ducking. I think the Behringer Pro VS Mini steals the scene in this video. I'm using it for a low drone and a string lead simultaneously, using a VERY analog sounding factory patch. It sounds just fantastic to me. I've used chorus, delay, and reverb to elevate it a little. My standard trio of free plugins - Baby Audio Magic Switch and Baby Come Back, plus Native Instruments Raum (get it for free in the Komplete Start bundle). The Behringer Crave rounds things out with a pluck sound that runs through the track. The same chorus/delay/reverb are applied with different values. I love the Crave for simple sounds with its single oscillator, but I should probably use the patch bay and maybe some external sound sources to get some more versatility out of it.
