Settle into your center and let the hips and pelvis open with patience and breath. This is Session 1 of a 6-part series designed to progressively open and align the hips and pelvis. Full Somatic Foundations Series available with our membership program available here 👉 https://somatic-living.com/foundation... The Body Series rotates through four sequences, each progressively opening a different area: 1️⃣ Feet & Legs 2️⃣ Hips & Pelvis 3️⃣ Torso 4️⃣ Shoulders, Neck & Head In this first session, we begin by creating a stable, grounded base for deeper opening. You’ll center awareness in the pelvic bowl, soften the inner landscape, and make space for sensation. Move slowly, stay curious, and let the breath guide the shape rather than the other way around. How to work with it: Practice 2–3×/week for 1–2 weeks (or longer) before moving on to Session 2.available inside our Somatic Foundations program: Use props (blanket, blocks, cushions) to meet the floor with ease. Lead with sensation and breath; depth will follow. This practice supports you in: 🌿 Creating pelvic stability and grounded support 🌿 Releasing accumulated tension in hips, groin, and low back 🌿 Improving circulation and communication through the fascial network 🌿 Building a clear, felt connection between breath, pelvis, and spine We hope you enjoy, and we would love to hear form you how this practice helps you on your journey of somatic wellness. ✨ #somaticliving #somaticfoundations #somaticmovement #somaticpractice #hips #pelvis #hipopener #fasciarelease #fasciarelease #mindbodyconnection #embodiment #somatichealing #yoga #somaticyoga #mobilitypractice
