What I eat in a day budget friendly MWL meals following the starch solution is what I am sharing with you today. I will be giving you 3 easy meals that are not only budget friendly but are weight loss friendly. I will also tell you the price per serving on each recipe. Here are the recipes for these budget friendly MWL meals: Breakfast Banana Oat pancakes Budget friendly and MWL 2 cups gluten free rolled oats, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups water 1 ripe banana 1 tsp. baking powder 1 flax egg 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp vanilla powder or 1 tsp. vanilla extract ! T maple syrup berries and or sliced bananas Add all ingredients into your Vitamix or blender and blend until smooth. Pour onto preheated griddle @ 375 degrees or skillet. Top with fruit and a little maple syrup RECIPE #2 Chickpea taco bowl budget friendly and MWL 1 cup of cooked chickpeas or 1 cup of canned chickpeas 1/4 cup water 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. fiesta seasoning or taco seasoning mixed greens shredded carrots red onion chopped chopped tomatoes cooked rice. 2 T salsa 1/2 cup plant based cheese sauce warmed up. • New Plant Based Cheese Sauce with Potato B... How to make chickpeas in the Instant pot Add 2 cups chickpeas to Instant pot cover with water at least an 2 inches above the chickpeas. Add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp onion powder. Cook on manual for 35 minutes and then natural release. Add water to a preheated non stick skillet and chickpeas on medium heat. Add the seasoning and let cook for a few minutes adding water as needed. In a bowl place the mixed greens, carrots, onion and tomatoes on one side of the bowl and place rice on the other then add chick peas over the top. Mix the salsa and cheese sauce together and pour over the top. RECIPE #3 Pasta with veggies Budget Friendly and MWL 1 3/4 cup pasta (I used gluten free) 1 14.5 oz. can of Italian style tomatoes 1 1/ cup chopped kale 2 T tomato paste 3/4 cup pasta water 1-2 T nutritional yeast 1 12 oz. bag frozen veggies (I used California Blend) pre steamed Cook pasta to package directions and add back into the pot. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir thoroughly cover and let sit for a few minutes so the kale will wilt a bit.
