We live in a curious time: life happens, but it must also fit into a feed. In this talk, Gabriela Prioli explores how social media no longer shapes only what we show the world, but also what we choose to live. Between filters, likes and carefully edited narratives, a quiet question emerges: are we sharing our lives, or learning to perform them? As digital platforms blur the boundaries between authenticity and visibility, the deeper challenge of our time becomes clear. The most meaningful, human and truthful experiences still unfold beyond the screen; if we allow them to. Gabriela Prioli is a legal scholar and television host who moved from the courtroom to the center of public debate. A PhD candidate at the University of Salamanca in co-tutelle with FADISP, she first stood out in law before becoming known for her sharp argumentation and clear, accessible communication. In just a few years of public life, Gabriela has published two best-selling books, founded one of Brazil’s largest book clubs, and created courses that have reached more than 70,000 students. With over 4.5 million followers and experience across several TV programs, she now leads her own show on GNT. Gabriela embraces the many layers of contemporary womanhood, sharing her life as a mother, professor, entrepreneur, and fashion enthusiast, proving that intellect and style can grow side by side. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
