Starting with a young girl who discovered and began practicing any sport, she began with swimming, but currently, her passion is volleyball. This interest began during the pandemic when volleyball games were being held near her home, and she played for the first time. From that moment on, she was fascinated and began training, developing a desire to compete. Volleyball has become a 24/7 part of her life, which is why she aspires to goals and objectives such as earning an athletic scholarship, being considered the best player in her position, and, most ambitiously, making the national team. Every dream requires great discipline, responsibility, and passion to achieve it. That's why two years ago she joined a club. For her, it was the perfect place, with the best players in Xalapa, intense training, and a very good and well-known coach. So she started working hard to earn a starting spot on the team, but the coach didn't see her efforts. Even though she never missed a day, trained well, and was always positive, he never took her seriously. When he finally started putting her in games, he yelled hurtful things and insults at her, which led to her becoming increasingly frustrated. One day, during a competition, she started the game poorly, and her coach began insulting her, causing her to become discouraged and filled with fear, anxiety, and negativity, which she couldn't control at that moment. From that day on, she began training in fear, which eventually led her to leave the club. After a very difficult season, she found an opportunity to train and meet some very good players who taught her a lot. She also had the chance to attend Las Hayas school, which helped her rediscover her desire to compete and enjoy herself. She is a loving, kind, polite, cultured, sociable, adventurous, friendly, cheerful, fun-loving, authentic, intelligent, disciplined, and respectful person Her hobbies include socializing, listening to music, dancing, relaxing in her room, painting, playing sports, going to cafes and the movies, going to soccer games and exploring new places At three months old, she received a critical health diagnosis. At four, she contracted Kawasaki disease, and at eleven, she contracted COVID-19, as she was a child who got sick easily. During her childhood, an important factor that helped shape her personality was her family: her mother, her grandmother, and her aunt and uncle, whom she loves dearly and thanks for their attention, love, and support throughout the different stages of her development. Their support facilitated her life's journey, both academically, athletically, and socially. Their mission, however, is to make her happy and ensure she enjoys life with the respect it deserves This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
