GOTO Track 01 // Rewind & Repeat CYBER DOMINION is a new entry in my ongoing "PSX" series, where I dive deeper into the emotional circuitry of 90s/Y2K atmospheric DnB, ambient jungle, and the kind of fictional PS1 soundtracks I grew up imagining. With this album, I wanted to capture that feeling of loading a memory card at midnight, CRT glow in a dark room, and stepping into a polygonal world powered by breakbeats and distant pads. It’s nostalgic, but not frozen in time—more like a lost game rediscovered. In this imagined 3D, low-poly, third-person PS1 mecha game, you pilot the experimental unit known as the CYBER DOMINION. Your mission is to reclaim abandoned terraforming zones across a fractured planet where climate engines have gone rogue. Each level unfolds across vast natural wonders rendered in sharp polygons and fog-heavy draw distance: crystal deserts with shimmering low-res reflections, floating archipelagos suspended over digital oceans, and monolithic data-spires erupting from snowy wastelands. The soundtrack follows your descent from orbit to ground deployment, every breakbeat syncing with booster ignition. As the campaign progresses, classified operations surface. Corrupted maintenance bots swarm like metallic insects, their AI rewritten by an unknown signal buried beneath the planet’s crust. You navigate glitched forests where textures flicker and gravity shifts without warning, escort convoys through neon-lit canyon storms, and dive into submerged research vaults guarded by obsolete war machines. Boss encounters feel massive despite the hardware limits—huge silhouettes emerging from fog, mechanical roars compressed by memory constraints. Guest starring: AURACODE-9, Neon Valkyrie Unit, and the rogue support AI “HELIOS-Δ”. Together, they guide—or misguide—you through the final approach to the Dominion Core. The production of the album is mainly centered around textures, one-shots and breaks coming from 90s sample CDs, together with selected samples, chops, melodic flips and atmospheric manipulations of PSX soundtracks. Best enjoyed during late-night system diagnostics in a dark room, but also just while commuting through the city. Thank you for continuing to support this project and these strange little worlds I build through sound. I’m always learning, always refining my craft, and pushing myself to make each release more immersive than the last. Your time and ears mean everything to me.
