In this video, DJ goes over the lat pulldown machine. Setting up the lat pulldown is a straightforward process that begins with adjusting the knee pad to fit snugly against your thighs, ensuring stability during the exercise. If needed, you can use elevation pads so that your feet are flat on the ground and that your toes aren’t bridged. Secondly, you want to make sure the seat height is appropriate for the handle attachment you’re going to use. Some handles are bigger than others and will require you to lower the seat for a fuller range of motion. Lastly, when starting the exercise, you want to make sure to have a firm grip on the handle, make sure to focus on using your back muscles rather than your arms, keeping your torso upright and avoiding excessive leaning.
