Join me for this short chair yoga video where we will focus some attention on the wrists and shoulders. We begin by checking in with our posture and our breath. Then, we will add in some shoulder circles to loosen up the muscles. Next, we give some attention to the hands and wrists before we add in some unilateral and bilateral shoulder movements. We end by once again checking in with how we feel. Remember to always go at your own pace. Focus on the breath first, and then the movements. I create my chair yoga sequences and exercises while keeping in mind common mobility restrictions. I eliminate any loaded spinal flexion in the seated position as well as full rotation of the spine in the poses. Be sure to always do what is right for you.
