WARNING - This will be a horror rp and will feature non-sexual violence and character deaths. MD2022: Forbidden Forest 2009JoRose (Horned King) tamtamedits (Amalthea) WolfSpirit79 (Belial) LadyoftheSea (Pips) Theme: Every decade a lone figure emerges from the Forbidden Forest surrounding the small village of Thornthwaite on the outskirts of the kingdom of Camelot. He waits at the edge of the forest silent, the village knows why he has come, the forest requires tribute. In order to sustain its life force the forest requires the sacrifice of the life forces of the younger generations. Anyone can choose to brave the forest though only one survivor will emerge the others never to be seen again. This is the only time the forest will allow anyone to set foot inside it. When the forest is happy the village experiences a prosperous harvest but when the tribute is not enough starvation and poverty run rampant. Due to this the residents of the village take the choosing of the tributes very seriously and a ceremony will be held in the middle of town. The family of the survivor will be blessed with luck on top of the good harvest for the next 10 years as well as the glory that comes with it. Many poorer families have started having as many children as possible that they can send into the woods in order to have the highest chance of winning. RULES: non / Disney characters allowed. Mx Disney is not limited to Disney only characters. Your character must be from a film to make clips easier to find for your future contestants. Movies based on TV series will not count. Representative characters to show family or friends are allowed without having to claim these. Your character must be human. - Characters cannot be magical or have any special powers. Your character must be younger than thirty - Your character must be from the village of Thornthwaite, a village outside of Camelot that neighbors the Forbidden Forest.They may have moved away or gone traveling but they and their family must be from the village originally. All masks, effects, colorings, etc. must be your own. Once you have claimed a character, you have 10 days to enter your audition, or the claim will run out. You can still enter your audition after this, but if someone asks for your character before you do so, I am obliged to give the character away. Once your audition has been entered, your character will move from the claimed list to the taken list. IN YOUR AUDITION VIDEO: Video entry can be whichever length you want. The video must show your claimed character. You must show your character hearing about the arrival of the lone figure. This can be in any form you want, such as someone telling them, them hearing an announcement, etc. You must show why your character wants to enter the forest. You must show your character auditioning in front of the town elders, as well as the reasons why they should be picked to enter the forest. Your character can not have entered the forest previously as no one is allowed in apart from during the sacrifice. Auditions will end at sunset that day so you can not show your character auditioning after that point. Claimed/Taken Characters: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1a... WHAT THE JUDGES ARE LOOKING FOR: Editing skill; masking, coloring etc. Storyline; do we want to see more of your character? - Originality and creativity. What makes your character stand out from all the other auditions? - Attention to detail; do you take the extra time for finishing touches? - How well have the rules and information been followed? Try to avoid plot points that have been done previously. Presenting a wholly original plot and character will help your chances of getting in! Note that the first audition with a certain plot point will not be punished for subsequent auditions being similar, but if you are the 5th audition to do a similar plot point, points will be reduced for lack of creativity. DEADLINE: Auditions will end on December 23rd -23:59 CET. NOTE: ALL DEADLINES ADHERE TO THE CE (S) T TIMEZONE AND ARE ABSOLUTE. CET will switch to CEST on March 27th 2021.
