[CLOSED] THE DEMIGOD'S TRIAL ● NEW N/DISNEY ROLEPLAY

Welcome to the new Non/Disney Roleplay "The Demigod's Trial!" ●THE STORY● Every child a God or Goddess has with a mortal (a demigod) is taken apart from their human parent as soon as they are born and placed into a village surrounded by huge walls made by the Zeus himself which can't be broken by the demigods inside. They are imprisoned in a village they can't escape from. In this village live people of all ages, and some die without ever knowing any of their parents, so in this society people usually choose to take care of each other and create families usually based on the common God parent they have. Every 10 years there is a celebration in which Zeus, accompanied with another God or Goddess, chooses one demigod worthy of becoming a full God. Sometimes it is based on bravery, or beauty, or intelligence... And other times nobody knows why this person was chosen. Naturally, people try to be as "perfect as possible" so the Gods think of them as someone worthy of joining them in Mount Olympus. Our contestants, however, receive yet another disappointment when they are not chosen to accompany Zeus and Artemis to Olympus. They are filled with rage and/or sadness, and are vulnerable because of this. It is in this moment when Hades appears in from of them, offering the contestants a deal: he promises to make the worthiest of them a full God or Goddess and take them to the Olympus to meet their immortal parent, IF they complete some tasks for him first. Whoever wins these tasks shall be a full God. Who doesn't, will return to the village. ***Every demigod has a special power/ability based on their immortal parent. Here’s a Google doc so you can check the power your character would have depending on their parents. If your God/Goddess of choice does not appear here, we will add it alongside some abilities for their children to have. Example: “I want to join with Nita, daughter of Athena”. ****We want originality when choosing the immortal parents. This is, it’s unlikely we choose 6 children of Aphrodite out of the 10 contestants, so keep that in mind. We recommend checking the “claimed characters list” to see which characters and gods have been picked. ●CHARACTERS CLAIMED/TAKEN● https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y... You will have 2 weeks to complete your audition video. If you upload your audition later than your deadline but nobody else has picked your character then it would still count as valid. On the other hand, if someone else claims your character when your deadline runs out, your video wouldn't be valid. The auditions must be posted with a link on a comment in this video to count as valid. -You have to show your character personality and backstory / situation on the village. -You have to indicate who their immortal parent is, and provide some information about what the God/Goddess represents. Example: Aurora as the daughter of Aphrodite, Goddess of beauty and love. **DON’T SHOW THE GOD/GODDESS in the video (unless it’s one of the judges’ representatives), just name who they are. -You have to show Hades and how he makes a deal with your character (in which he promises them to make them immortal in exchange for some tasks) -You can give your character an original name, if you so desire. Not mandatory. **Minor or more obscure gods and goddesses are a priori allowed, but if you want to make sure, go ahead and ask beforehand!^^ AUDITIONS WILL END ON: AUGUST 8TH at midnight, CE(S)T time.
