Because of the availability of sugary food all around us, children are attracted more toward s those foods and parents are grandparents feel that children have all the right to eat chocolates, biscuits, all sugary foods like cakes and pastries. But we do not know how much damage we are going to do to our children by giving them all sugary foods. Sugars in the foods can damage all their cells, lower their immunity and cause obesity which may lead to diabetes and so many other diseases like hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder. So we have to cultivate healthy eating habits in the children from the beginning. So we have to introduce sugary foods as much as possible at a delayed pace. We don’t introduce sugary foods when they are very small. Don’t give a sweet treat as a reward for something, instead give them fruits which are wholesome fruits and vegetables. So eat vegetables like carrots and beetroots and sweet potato and don’t give them the sugary drinks, which gave high amount of sugar and which are high in calories and low in all the essential nutrients. So don’t give them those things. Give them fresh fruit juices and cultivate the healthy eating practices with them. So like you eat fruits in front of them and make them eat and stay healthy.
