Today we teardown a Bad Mercedes M270 2.0L Turbo 4 cylinder from a 2017 Infiniti QX30. The QX30 is simply a rebadged GLA250. This only has 67K miles and it is in TERRIBLE shape due to some quite questionable repairs. This is the very first M270 I've had on the channel so I was very interested to see how it was put together(and how it came apart). You can see why this terrible repair led to this engines demise and just how bad it got with such low miles. There's even a run video! This engine can be found in MANY 4 cylinder Mercedes vehicles starting in 2013. Power outputs can vary, but this one produces 208hp and 258lbft of torque. Why am I doing this? My name is Eric and I own Importapart. A full service auto dismantler. Part of our model includes dismantling blown up, failed and otherwise bad engines to salvage the good parts. We do not rebuild engines, merely supply parts to those who do! TO BUY PARTS, visit www.Importapart.com OR email us at [email protected] Every week I post at least one teardown video as I have over the last 3.5 years.
