The BERT Hero CrossFit WOD is a workout that requires no equipment. I have done it in rig as a tribute to the fallen. I will be completing a number of the Hero CrossFit WOD's over the next couple of weeks for you to follow along to in order to increase your strength and endurance. This is by far the hardest WOD I have done so far, but the all round gains in endurance are well worth it. Cpl. Albert P. Gettings, 27, of New Castle, Pa., and Lance Cpl. Ryan S. McCurdy, 20, of Baton Rouge, La., died Thursday after being hit by enemy small-arms fire in Fallujah. Gettings was a member of 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment and McCurdy was a member of Headquarters Company, both in the 2nd Division.
