TRIP REPORT | Premiere on Iberia Business Class! | IBERIA Airbus A330-300 | Madrid to Chicago

Iberia Trip Report flying from Vienna to Chicago (via Madrid), in Business Class, onboard one of the Iberia Airbus A330-300 on a lovely spring day. An extremely comfortable trip, as expected, on the Iberia Business Class from Vienna to Madrid and then onwards to Chicago. This was my first time flying in Iberia's long-haul business class, and I must say it was an amazing experience. We took off from runway 29 in Vienna, and after some nice sightseeing of the cit,y we set course towards the Alps. They still had the last snow covers on the tops and they were amazing to see, as always. The flight to Madrid went fast. I slept for around one 1hour and woke up over Barcelona. The approach to Madrid was smooth, and before we realisedit, we were already disembarking at Terminal 4. The connection was very smooth, without any queue anywhere. A really enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to visit the Iberia business lounge at Terminal 4S. Around 1 hour after landing in Madrid, we were already boarding the A330 that would take us to Chicago. We took off toward the south, in opposite direction that we landed before. The views of Madrid were really amazing and we could even spot the new Real Madrid stadium. We flew towards Porto and entered the Atlantic Ocean, flying towards Portugal. We crossed the Atlantic until Newfoundland. From there, flying to the north of Boston, we flew direct to Chicago, where we landed on time. About the onboard service, I was very happy to see that Iberia has recovered the warm breakfast on business class on early flights. Much better than the plastified breakfast they had been offering for the last 3 years. On the flight to Chicago, the food was also great. From appetizer to dessert, from the snack to the main: everything was delicious. The crew was extremely polite, and you could see they enjoyed the job. However, there was no mid-flight meal! For around 7 hours, all that was available, even in business class, were chips! Now it's your turn! Have you ever flown with Iberia? Which route? How was the experience?
