Today's video is an upper push workout for athletic strength and power. It's a strength and power push day, where all the movements are athletic and functional. Splitting your workouts into push, pull, and legs can be an effective method of training for many people, but we want to make sure we keep it athletic and functional to help with sports and every day life. I'm not a massive fan of strict body building style, so this workout is much more athletic in nature. It follows an upper body contrast training style and upper body complex training style, as you'll notice we start each series with a heavier strength movement, followed by a lighter and explosive power movement of the same movement pattern. This is an amazing way to train, for athletes and people in general. It will help build strength and power that will translate to your sport and to life. We also hit some injury prevention and shoulder care as well, and of course, core work to finish.
