This Mango Habanero Sauce is inspired by classic store-bought hot sauces but made entirely from real, pantry-friendly ingredients, no artificial colors, preservatives, or additives. The recipe yields approximately 1½ to 2 cups of sauce, depending on blending and reduction, making it perfect for glazing chicken, drizzling over tacos, mixing into marinades, or using as a dipping sauce. You can easily adjust the heat by reducing the number of habaneros or balance the sweetness by tweaking the sugar and vinegar to taste. Once cooled, store the sauce in a clean, airtight glass jar in the refrigerator, where it will stay fresh and flavorful for up to 2–3 weeks. Shake or stir before using for the best consistency. ▶ Recipe Ingredients ~ 1 cup Ripe Mango (cut into small chunks) 3–4 Habanero Peppers (stems and seeds removed, chopped) 4 cloves Garlic (peeled, chopped) ½ cup White Vinegar ¼ cup Water 3 tbsp Brown Sugar 1 tsp Salt ½ tsp Ground Turmeric ¼ tsp Ground Allspice ▶Directions ~ Add mango, habanero peppers, garlic, vinegar, water, sugar, and salt to a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mango is very soft and the flavors are blended. Carefully transfer the hot mixture to a blender. Blend until completely smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add 1–2 tbsp water and blend again. Return blended sauce to the saucepan. Add ground turmeric and allspice. Simmer on low heat for 3–5 minutes. Taste and adjust salt, sugar, or vinegar as needed. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool completely.
