The daughter of illiterate immigrants, raised between three cultures, Fatima Rougi was never meant to be heard - yet she refused to stay silent. Through activism, failure, and persistence, she shows how identity, activism, and stubborn hope can turn setbacks into progress. Fatima Rougi, a Luxembourg‑Moroccan feminist activist and cultural communicator, leads Planned Parenthood in Luxembourg (Planning Familial). Born in Morocco and raised in Corsica, she has campaigned vigorously for her beliefs, including: to lower tampon taxes and champion reproductive rights, showing how persistence and passion can drive real social change.
