The daughter of illiterate immigrants, raised between three cultures, Fatima Rougi was never meant to be heard - yet she refused to stay silent. Through activism, failure, and persistence, she shows how identity, activism, and stubborn hope can turn setbacks into progress. This talk is an invitation to trust the process and claim your power where you stand. Fatima Rougi, a Luxembourg‑Moroccan feminist activist and cultural communicator, leads Planned Parenthood in Luxembourg (Planning Familial). Born in Morocco and raised in Corsica, she has campaigned vigorously for her beliefs, including: to lower tampon taxes and champion reproductive rights, showing how persistence and passion can drive real social change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
