Physical incapabilities do not limit your potential. The visually impaired young women from India who are described in this talk are the perfect example of the determination everyone should encompass in order to eradicate all the barriers that come in the way of one’s dreams. Mansa Devaki is a sophomore at Seabury Hall. Her favorite subjects are math and science, and she aspires to be a doctor and make her own non-profit clinic in the future. In her free time, she likes to listen to music, dance, and travel with her family. Mansa wanted to do TEDx not only because she wanted to gain a new experience but to spread awareness and inspire others to be grateful for the amazing life we have been given and all the awesome things that come with it. Her topic for this year’s event is her experience at a girl’s blind school in India, the Andh Kanya Prakash Gruha. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
