Subscribe to Masala TV Recipes here: https://bit.ly/MasalaTV Bright, bold, and bursting with flavor — this episode of Masala Mornings with Chef Shireen Anwar brings you the perfect duo of freshness and spice! 🥭🥝🍗✨ 🍹 Kiwi Mango Refresher – A vibrant tropical drink made with juicy mangoes and tangy kiwis — cool, fruity, and oh-so-refreshing! 🍛 Spicy Chicken Rice Bowl – Tender chicken tossed in fiery masalas, layered over fragrant rice — a complete comfort meal with a kick! ✨ Wake up your taste buds with this power-packed combo of color, taste, and energy — only on Masala Mornings! 👩🍳 Chef: Shireen Anwar 📺 Show: Masala Mornings 📅 Onair Date: 24 Oct 2025 📌 Channel: Masala TV SPICY CHICKEN RICE BOWL Ingredients Chicken cubes 500 gm Marinate with garlic 2 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Lemon juice 2 tbsp Hot sauce 2 tbsp Chili flakes 1 tbsp Sumac 1 tsp Parsley 1 tsp Honey 1 tsp Tahini 1 tbsp Oil ¼ cup METHOD Marinate chicken with all the given ingredients for 30 mins, grill the chicken in ¼ cup oil till done, bell pepper red, green and yellow half each cut into julienne, tomato, onion 1 cut into slices, sauteed vegetables with salt and pepper and lemon juice 2 tbsp oil, French fries 1 ½ cup fried, sliced cucumber half, hot sauce 2 tbsp. Ingredients for Rice Rice soaked 2 cups Brown vermicelli 1 cup Oil 2 tbsp Butter 2 tbsp Chopped garlic 1 tbsp Green chilies chopped 2 tbsp Salt n pepper 1 ½ tsp Chicken stock 4 cups METHOD FOR RICE Heat oil and butter, add green chilies, fine juliennes, then add garlic chopped, fry, add brown vermicelli, fry, add salt, crushed black pepper with stock, when it starts to boil, add soaked rice, when water dries, put on dum. First sauce to be served with chicken rice bowl. Blend all ingredients together from parsley till salt n pepper, then add olive oil very gently until thick. Other Ingredients Fresh parsley ¼ cup Coriander leaves 1 cup Green chilies 3 Jalapeno 1 tbsp sliced Garlic 2 cloves Vinegar 1 tbsp. Lemon juice 2 tbsp Cumin 1 tsp Salt n pepper ½ tsp Olive oil ½ cup Ingredients for White Sauce Mayonnaise ½ cup Garlic crushed 1 tsp Yogurt ½ cup Lemon juice 1 tbsp Vinegar 1 tbsp Black pepper and salt ¼ tsp Sugar 1 tbsp Chopped jerkins 1 tbsp Chopped jalapenos 1 tbsp METHOD Mix all the ingredients together, add chopped jerkins and jalapenos together. Ingredients for Tahini Sauce Buttermilk ½ cup Tahini 2 tbsp Lemon juice 2 tbsp Garlic powder 1 tsp Honey 1 tsp Onion powder ½ tsp Salt n pepper ½ tsp each Chopped parsley, chopped coriander and dill Mix all the ingredients and water if needed Cream 2 tbsp METHOD Mix together buttermilk, cream, lemon juice, tahini powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, honey, mix all well, add chopped leaves. Ingredients for Tadka Butter 4 ounce Garlic chopped 2 tbsp Parsley 2 tbsp Crushed red pepper 1 tsp T O SERVE On a wooden platter, serve 3 sauces in small bowls, chicken with veggies on one corner, fries on one side, rice mould in the centre, iceberg lettuce.
