This one brings back great memories from our childhood of the mighty Wessex flying overhead. This footage was recorded in 2002 on the apron at RAF Aldergrove as the 72 Squadron Wessex helicopters depart on their farewell tour. The highlight is the air-to-air video taken from a Lynx helicopter! This was found on an unlabelled VHS tape, it resembles news footage, but there was no voiceover so I'm unclear on the source. A similar machine is now part of the collection at the Ulster Aviation Society - well worth a visit.
