NOT Buffalo Wings, These are Super Wings Asian Style

These chicken wings are super! These super wings are chicken! There are some super chicken wings! Whatever you wanna call them, it's National Super Wing Day and I guarantee they'll fly right off the table and into everyone's delighted mouth. These super wings are sort of a cross between Chinese orange chicken and Korean chicken wings. Instead of explaining it, you'll just have to watch, but suffice it to say, they strike the perfect balance between sweet and sour, spicy and of course, sticky. They've gotta be sticky! If you don't have harissa paste, you can substitute gochujang or another chili paste of your preference. Just don't go too overboard. The wings themselves can be deep fried or baked (can you guess which method I use,) and though I batter them in a very thin, light batter you can also skip it if you prefer wings without. The one thing I wouldn't skip though, is the coating, seasoning and drying out process as this really helps with texture and I don't know about you, but flabby wings don't fly with me. LOL!
