PX is a French restaurant industry term for VIP it’s shot for personnes extraordinaire. Located in Building 5 at The Garden - 6856 Bellaire Blvd - the PX Café joins Eat Drink HTX with a 2 course $15 lunch this year. But behind the kitchen door a lot more than making sandwiches is going on. The PX Project’s mission is to ” turn the kitchen into an immersive classroom for young adults to explore their identities, learn transferable skills, and open doors to their future.” Katie Stone talks with founder, Meredith Davis about the project explaining how it is much more than a culinary school, and Culinary Director Cesar Cano highlights the food and the young people involved in the process. Josh Deleon of Underground Creamery fame also joins the conversation.
