-I like Ethiopian food so much sadly covid has taught us that its necessary to learn how to make our favourite meals because we can't rely on the hotels and restaurants.( NEVER KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT) -Making injera takes days but of course am giving you the simplest way of making a quick injera recipe at home. -The major ingredient when making injera is teff which is very expensive and rare to find in the Kenyan stores. -In this video we are making injera without teff. -The whole making of the injera is roughly 1 hour 30 minutes or less. -The ingredients are: yeast, all purpose wheat flour, rice flour,salt,oil, and warm water.( sugar optional i don't usually add it) PROCESS *Prepare your yeast by adding warm water and the sugar, give it 5-10 minutes. *Mix dry ingredients together. *Add the prepped yeast and mix. *Add oil in the butter and let it sit..30 to 1hour. *Let the pan warm then add the batter then cook on low until ready(no sign of fresh batter). *Top with left over legumes,vegetables,minced meat etc -Hoping the video is helpful, please SUBSCRIBE for more simplified cooking videos in the future. -All social media tags pinned in the first comment of this video. -Email, ndanurachael1@gmail.com STAY SAFE
