Today Im working with some colors that make me very happy, I hope you enjoy them too! My dear friend Sarah Mack did a pour for me that I have hanging in my living room.. it is a straight pour inspired by Star Wars and has some of the most beautiful fingerlings in the center.. my colors and technique today are very much inspired by Sarah's pour.. Colors DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics Deep Sapphire Amsterdam Permanent Blue Violet Permanent Red Violet Brilliant Blue Bronze Titanium White plus DecoArt Satin Enamels Pure White Pouring Medium: Liquitex Gloss Medium Floetrol Mix Pour There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. I am using a 20x20 inch gallery wrapped canvas from Artists Loft. I have mixed my paints with Liquitex gloss Medium and Floetrol, and then added a good sized shot of Mix Pour to thicken them up a bit. You can get your own Mix by emailing Krista at Krista8974@gmail.com I layer my cup keeping contrast in mind, light dark light dark. I pour into a puddle of bronze and permanent red violet. After I pour the cup I use some of the flow extender deep sapphire and only tilt a bit to stretch out the pour. After its stretched out then I use more flow extender and tilt it out, trying to keep as much of the initial pour on the canvas as possible. I like the pour but decide to use what is left in my cup to give the corners a bit more color like I did in Obsidian Heart, but more minimally. I still had some paint left after the 20x20 was done so I grabbed a Convexo rectangular canvas that was close by and layer a cup and pour that one. I love the fingerlings for that pour. The gardener showed up with the leaf blower so I was not talking in that video. I hope you enjoy these pours. Mine do not look like my dear Sarah's pour, but I do really love the fingerlings in both pours. Thank you so much for hanging out with HoA and Baxter and I in the garden!
