They allow you to tilt the canvas without holding the sides or edges, but holding two Handles instead. Hands Off Handles available on Amazon and HandsOffHandles.co Colors Amsterdam Permanent Blue Violet Greenish Blue Titanium White plus DecoArt Satin Enamels Pure White Folk Art Treasure Gold Aquamarine DecoArt Americana Decor Metallics 24K Gold Pouring Medium: Liquitex Gloss Medium Paint + a bit of Water Floetrol There is NO Silicone in Any of My Paint. The handles arrived quickly and although they looked a bit confusing I figured out how to attach them within a minute or two. I was impressed that they did not cover the sides or edges of the canvas, so the paint can still drip down and cover the sides. They were very snug and sturdy, I never felt like they would let go and I might drop the canvas. The two screws that hold the canvas in place were easy to tighten and not hard to move. I think this would be a great product for someone who wants a different way to tilt for whatever reason. The price was not overwhelming and I'm glad I bought them. The only word of caution is that these would not work for anything other than a gallery wrapped canvas.
