At 13:15:56 on Monday, January 5th, 2026 Washington County conducted a monthly test of the City of Bartlesville Outdoor Warning Sirens which consisted of about a 3 minute Alert. After the failure issues in Bartlesville were addressed somewhat recently, I assumed it had all been fixed, other than the central SD-10 and the Modulator which are just completely dead. My original target was the 2T22 3/5 mile to the west of this Thunderbolt but there were people doing whatever the hell by the fence next to the pole so I didn’t want to spook them by pointing my camera toward them. So I came here. Turns out it didn’t matter since they both failed lol. Another Thunderbolt and the north downtown 2001 also failed. So it seems they still have some stuff sort out, maybe a repeater issue idk. A handful of sirens which didn’t work correctly before are working fine now so at least they’re working on getting things fixed. Regardless, the ambiance was great.
