Afghanistan has fallen off the covers of newspapers and online reporting but the country is still in turmoil. We can't turn our eyes away from what is happening to Afghans as the United States holds $9.5 Billion of Afghan people hostage. We have to ask the Biden government to release Afghanistan's funds (this is not aid money, this Afghan people's money) before the country collapses into further economic turmoil and humanitarian crisis. In this video, I share my perspective on the hasty US withdrawal from Afghanistan and how the Taliban regime is affecting the lives of Afghan women, Afghan girls, and what the future holds for Afghan people.
