Riding Metro North!

It's Transportation Tuesday and we're riding Metro North; The Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York Commuter Rail! To be fair, I've never ridden some of these lines, but I practically live on the New Haven Line in CT. These trains bypass some of the worst traffic in the country and it makes it so much easier to go into the city as well as to several other cities along the shore and in the greater metropolitan area. There are 124 stations and 5 lines on 3 branches just here east of the Hudson River. They operated since 1832 and the lines have always been called New Haven, Harlem, and Hudson in my area; even though everyone calls the Harlem Line the White Plains Line, so I stumble over it when I talk about them a lot. They have special stops at places like the New York Botanical Garden, and you can switch to Amtrak at several stations as well. It's a great way to get around and all you really need is the MTA app to do it all. Don't insist on driving everywhere just because you have a car. Trains are a great way to travel, and I use them every week! Thank You!
