In this one-hour workshop, Dr. Betz King, Dr. Luann Fortune, Kelli Hughart, Dr. Carlos Santo, and Dr. Valerie Worthington will lead this workshop on mindfulness principles and healing practices to introduce to use with your animal friends. They will include massage and touch for relaxation and healing, therapeutic presence, and other integrative techniques. You can invite your animal companion to participate with you in this session, but it is not required. Alternatively, bring along a plush animal to practice the techniques during the session.
