Today we're celebrating a very British dish, Yorkshire Pudding! Yorkshire Pudding is really not a pudding in the American sense, but a pudding in the British sense, and it's traditionally served with Sunday roast. It's savory and can be made with beef drippings for extra flavor or oil as I do here. (Trust me, if I had beef drippings laying around I'd use 'em.) When most people however, see a Yorkshire Pudding, they think of popovers. They're basically the same thing except for two things: First, popovers are served on their own and don't contain beef drippings; and secondly, they are made in a popover pan, which is different than a muffin tin and typically then served with some sort of sweetened and flavored butter.
