Chicken Kofta Curry & Hara Raita | Shimla Aloo Chawal | Easy Desi Meal 🍛✨ Join Rafia Durrani in Zaiqon Ki Duniya – Episode 120 as she prepares a hearty and flavorful desi meal perfect for everyday cooking! 🍗 Chicken Kofta Curry – juicy chicken meatballs simmered in a rich, aromatic gravy 🥗 Hara Raita – refreshing green yogurt dip with herbs and spices 🍚 Shimla Aloo Chawal – colorful, veggie-loaded rice made with capsicum and potatoes A complete, balanced plate that brings comfort and taste to your dining table. 📺 Show: Zaiqon Ki Duniya 👩🍳 Host: Rafia Durrani 📅 On Air Date: 15 Nov 2025 📍 Channel: Masala TV 💡 Recipe Cards: Chicken Kofta Curry Ingredient Chicken mince 1 kilogram Chickpea powder 1 tbsp Egg 1 piece Dried fenugreek leaves 1 tbsp Onion (paste) 1 piece Tomato (puree) From 2 tomatoes Salt 1 tbsp Red chilli powder 1 tbsp Turmeric powder 1 tbsp Crushed black pepper 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp Oil as required Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Ground garam masala pinch Fried onion 1 piece Method: In a chopper, add chicken mince, egg, and all spices. Add 2 tbsp of oil and blend well. Shape the mixture into meatballs and shallow fry them. In a pan, heat oil and add onion paste. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, and all spices, and sauté well. Add the koftas to the gravy, then add dried fenugreek leaves and a little water. Cover and cook on low heat until done. Adjust the consistency of the gravy and serve hot. Hara Raita Ingredient Finely chopped cucumber 1 piece Onion 1 piece Tomato 1 piece Yogurt 2 cup Salt 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp Green coriander, mint, and green chilli paste 2 tbsp Method: In a bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well with yogurt. Chill it in the refrigerator and serve cold. Shimla Aalu Chawal Ingredient Capsicum 1 piece Potato 1 piece Oil 1 cup Cumin seeds 1 tbsp Onion 1 piece Tomato 1 piece Chicken cube 1 piece Salt 1 tbsp Whole spices as required Rice 300 grams Method: Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden brown. Add tomato and all ground whole spices, and sauté well. Then add capsicum and potato, cook for a while, and pour in some water. Add rice, and once it starts boiling, remove the lid to let the water evaporate. Cover again and cook on low heat (dum) for 10 minutes. Serve hot. Cook along and enjoy these simple, flavorful recipes at home.
