Boca Grande, Florida - Cool breeze and blue skies

SW Florida woke up to a cool 53 degrees. The beach was a gorgeous place to be this morning. Several people were out enjoying the cool breeze and sunshine. People were walking, looking for sea shells, reading the paper, drinking coffee and just enjoying life. The waves, this morning were wavy but calm. Listening to this sound is so relaxing and makes you really appreciate what nature gives us to enjoy. There is still a lot of workers on the island. A lot you can see from the beach side but a lot are within the internal part of the island. A number of the side streets that go to the beach are still closed which takes away a bunch of parking spaces. The parking lot on 5th street is still closed since Hurricane Ian and the State Park at the tip of the island is closed. Parking is very limited on the island if you are a visitor that would like to enjoy the beach. So if you plan to visit, keep that in mind.
