As a fussy-eating child one of the few things that George DID eat was cauliflower cheese, so why not return to the first ever Snack Hacker ingredient and convert a Greggs Cheese and Onion Slice into something even more spectacular. INGREDIENTS: A couple of slices of cauliflower A scant handful of hazelnuts Some crispy fried shallots Butter METHOD: Fry the cauliflower slices in butter over a low heat, constantly basting in the slowly browning butter. When they just start to ‘give’ to a knife, take them out and pour the butter over the top. Toast the hazelnuts in a dry pan until starting to colour. Take your prepared enhancers with you to a Greggs, Get a hot cheese and onion slice and remove the lid before piling in the cauliflower, nuts (lightly crushed) and a big pinch of the fried shallots.
